Iguazu Falls
These are on the border of Argentinian province of Misiones and the Brazilian state of Parana. It is divided into Upper and Lower Iguazu. The Iguazu river rises near the city of Curitiba. The river is in Brazil for most of its course where as the falls are in Argentina side. The word Iguazu comes from the Guarani or Tupi words which means the "Water"
La Boca Buenos Aires
It is in the neighborhood of the Argentine Capital, Buenos Aires.This city reflects the strong flavour of the European culture as many of earlier settlers are from the Italian city of Genoa. The people have strong belief that Buenos Aires was named after La Boca.. In 1882 after a long strike La Boca seceded from Argentina and the rebels raised the flag of Genoese flag.This flag was torn down by the President Julio Argentino Roca. This is a Federal protected are in the Santa Cruz Province, Argentina. This park is spread over 7269.27 Sq. Km. It is the second largest park in the country. This park was established on 11 MAy 1937. In 1980 it was declared as a World Heritage site by UNESCO.
Monte Fitz Roy
Monte Fiz Roy is a mountain which is located near El Chalten village in the southern Patagonian Ice Field in Patagonia on the border between Argentina and Chile. First climb was by the French Alpinist Lionel Terray and Guido Magnone in 1952. It is among most technically challenging mountains in the earth of mountaineers.
National Museum Of Decorative Arts Buenos Aires
The origin of the museum is a marriage in 1897 between two prominent members of turn-of-the-country Argentine high society: Matias Errazuriz the son of Chilean Emigres and Josefina De Alvear, the granddaughter of the independence era leader Carlos Maria De Alvear.
The couple commissioned French architect Rene Sergent in 1911 to design a mansion for them. It was for their retirement from the diplomatic corps, in which he had been Ambassador to the France for a number of years.The structure inspired the Bosch family to commission a similar palace nearby completed in 1916. Then the couple devoted 2 years to decorate the palace purchasing a large volume of antiques and arts. Mrs. Errazuriz died in 1935 the widower gave the mansion to the Argentine government on his son and daughter advice. The National Museum of Decorative Arts was established in 1937.
Perito Moreno Glacier
This glacier is loacated in Los Glaciares National Park is southwest Santa Cruz Province, Argentina. It is one of the most important tourist attraction in the Argentina Patagonia. It is 250 Sq. Km and 30 Km in length. It is one of the 48 glaciers fed by the Southern Patagonian Ice Field located in Andes system shard with Chile. This ice field is the world's largest reserve of fresh water.
Plaza De Mayo Buenos Aires
It is the main square on the Moserrat Barrio of the central Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is flanked by the Hipolito Yrigoyen , Balcarce Rivadavia and Bolivar streets.
Since the scene of 25 May 1810 independence after a revolution the plaza became a hub for the political life in Argentina.
Recoleta Cemetery
It is a cemetery located in the Recoleta neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It contains the graves of the people including Eva Peron, President of Argentina, Noble Prize Winners, Founder of the Argentine Navy and the gran daughter of Napoleon. In 2011 the BBC hailed it as one of the world's best cemeteries and in 2013 CNN listed it among the 10 most beautiful cemeteries in the world.
